EMCO Spirax Sarco V-BAR-910-2F300-LOC-TOT Insertion Flowmeter For sale- an EMCO Spirax Sarco V-BAR-910-2F300-LOC-TOT Insertion Flowmeter. I was going to call it a Turbo or Turbine because I already have several other EMCO flow meters listed and after shopping the other offerings on ebay those seemed to be words associated with this type of product. But I found complete specs and info here on the Spirax Sarco website and I don’t see either mentioned. So let’s stick with what we know, even if that isn’t much. Unlike the TMP-960 and 910 models I have listed, this one has an electronics module with a display on it. It took me awhile to decide that it was probably powered by 24 volts DC rather than 110VAC, so I powered it up as pictured and it basically puts the various displays up sequentially. It does show Error Code 1 and I think I saw it say Error Code 2 once as well. But with no sensors connected and the thing not installed in whatever it is supposed to be measuring I don’t find that too alarming. Untested other than as pictured and described, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered. However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed. Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs. Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested. As such it may work fine or it may have problems, so any purchase entails a certain degree of risk. If you Buy It Now your risk is limited to the shipping costs both ways. If you submit an offer you do so knowing that you cannot return it. In either case it is up to you to decide whether the risk level is acceptable to you, and if not you need to pass on this particular item. The physical condition of this thing looks pretty good overall, but I don’t really know what I am supposed to be looking for. The rubber coated conduit is broken where the wiring exits the blue electronics box, and the little orange Kobold AUF-1000 display piece did not light up when the EMCO piece was powered up but perhaps that requires a separate power input. Alternatively I would be happy to ship it charged to your Fedex account. I will under NO circumstances ship it UPS, the people there don’t seem to be smart enough to handle a shipment charged to the recipients account, nor do they appear to be smart enough to correct their mistake after the fact. With increasing frequency the ebay shipping calculator seems to be incapable of actually “calculating”, instead it prefers to tell you that the zip code you have entered is invalid. Unless/Until they can fix it the only thing I can do is to plug my zip, your zip, the weight and dimensions in at fedex.com to arrive at a shipping cost for your particular shipment. So if ebay isn’t providing a shipping cost automatically, you can always go to fedex.com and estimate it yourself. It would be shipping from a fedex terminal in 22902 in a box presumed to be 36x24x12, 40 pounds. Please note this is not a box size that I am likely to have sitting around, probably have to go out and buy it and between that and packing something like this it’s going to take some extra time before it ships.
