The 6-5001A EmerGen manual transfer switch transfers portable generator power to utility power using your existing electrical wiring during a power outage. Its built-in-Wattage meters permits load balancing to avoid impeding your generator's performance. The 6-5001A switch features four 15-Amps and two 20-Amps single pole circuits for a maximum load of 20-Ampss at 250 VAC. The power inlet accommodates a 20-Amps, L14-20-Plug. When every minute counts you need a transfer switch that is quick and easy to install. The 6-5001A includes an instructional video that makes installation a snap. This switch may also be mounted flush using the FC-657 Flush kit. UL/CUL Listed. This transfer switch are compatible with, and have UL Approval for, the following brands or load centers with 20-Amps generator output(typically 5,000-Watt generators): Cutler Hammer: CH Series and BR Series, ITE Siemens, Westinghouse, Square D, Homeline, General Electric and Challenger.
