This stretcher or gurney has a proven tough and efficient track record. Can't beat the Korean or Viet Nam War for a quality of item reference. The stretcher while quite different than the new style associated with ambulances today. With that it provides many advantages. It wouldn't cost you thousands of dollars to purchase. It's much more size friendly and will easily fit in a van or SUV for travel and can be stored in a standard closet. Plenty tough the canvas shows no rips or tears and the unit has steel crossbars and feet. Another huge advantage is it's light weigh that two persons can handle. Plus it's very maneuverable and can fit into some tight spaces where injuries requiring a stretcher often occur. Following this unit military career it served as a on call if needed emergency tool at a local mill for decades which it recently closed. Some possible new roles could be emergency assistance for ski or snowboard groups, rock or mountain climbing teams, sports racers on bikes, boats or motorcycles or even at triathlons. In the business sector the stretcher could be utilized in a manufacturing plant, school or other companies.
