 This auction is for a new old stock emergency stretcher. It was made by the Emergency Aids Company in Wheaton, Illinois. MSRP was $535.00 in 1999 for this item.  It is called a Collapsi-Cot and is the deluxe model Sp-56.  The brochure reads "The Modern Collapsi-Cot is today's answer for an all purpose stretcher. Designed for instant use, comfort and maneuverability, it is the lightest, safest, and strongest litter in the use today. Collapsi-Cot, with its rugged construction, meets every requirement in its multi used. It serves as a flat stretcher, transfer chair or convalescent lounge. The telescopic tubular frame adjusts to any size where required. In takes only 10 seconds to set up..."    It opens to a full 72 inches  in length and 20 inches in width.  Folded it measures 45 inches by 20 inches and 2 1/4 inches thick. The standard model weighs 23 pounds, this one is a little heavier as it the deluxe model and has 6'' rubber wheels at the head and 5" ball bearing swivel wheels at the base end.. It also comes with a tow strap, waterproof detachable pillow, and 2 restrainer straps. It is in perfect condition. Please contact for wholesale and bulk purchases as there are many available.
