 This centrifuge is in good functional and cosmetic condition.  It comes with an 18 place rotor, but without the screw on metal rotor lid.  The timer, speed control, short spin button and lid interlock all work as they should.  You may return this centrifuge within 30 days, for whatever reason, for a full refund - you pay only return shipping and after 30 days up to 180 days you can return it for free repair or exchange for an equivalent unit. If you are looking for a microcentrifuge to use in the cold room, this is the model I would recommend.  Unlike the 5415 model, the 5415C has a fan that runs as long as the main power switch is on.  If you leave the main power switch on as long as the unit is in the cold room, the air movement and slight heat from the fan will help prevent condensation inside the unit.  The missing rotor lid, which makes the unit noisier when spinning at high speed, is not as bothersome as it might be on the bench.  In fact, I find it useful to tell when a run has finished without going into the cold room.  The included free shipping is by FedEx Ground (or Home Delivery) within the continental US and generally takes 2 to 7 days,  Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii is by USPS parcel post and will take about 2 weeks.
