Up for sale is an Eppendorf 5415R Refrigerated Microcentrifuge with the standard F45-24-11 rotor with plastic lid, OEM drip tray, and heavy duty hospital grade power cord - 120VAC model. This centrifuge is in excellent external except for smudge on the cover where someone removed Sharpie initials - check out the cool science sticker we will send to cover most of the flaw (sticker due to arrive July 21). The bowl has some flakes of corrosion that we couldn't remove. We go through these from the top to the bottom during our refurbishment process cleaning inside and out (yikes, those drain hoses!). We replace capacitors, rubber isolators, door seals, bearings, gaskets, screws where necessary. We lube hinges and springs. We tested menus, timer, temperature set at 0 degrees Celsius measured to a stable -3 on the side of the bowl; RPM at 13,200 measured to be 13,196 - all okay. Summary: this 5415R is clean, tested, functional and ready to get back to work! If you do not need the rotor\lid - send an offer for a $100 discount with a note about the rotor.
