 For Sale is an Eppendorf 5417R Refrigerated Centifuge.   Old style 5417R with the temperature sensor in the lid.  F-45-30-11 Rotor.  It is fully functional and cools very nicely from room temp down to -9C in only 10 minutes!!  It will cool from RT to 4C using fast cool function in 5.5 minutes. Rotor and bowl are in good condition with no cracks in aluminum.  Some slight staining of bowl.  Overall a very usable and functional centrifuge.  No vibration at max speed.  Compressor does create slight vibration when running. Known issues: Rotor is frozen onto spindle.  Have tried to remove with no luck. Top of lid has 4 screws which are being used to hold inner lid in place. Inner lid has some discolouration and small gauge in plastic/insulation.  Does not effect performance.  See pic Hairline crack in top of outer case (see pic) Power plug location has been moved from standard location.  see pic. 14 day guarantee on unit.  buyer buys return shipping.
