This Model 5415R also comes with a variable temperature control from 0deg; to 40deg;C and can maintain 4degC (39degF) at maximum speed, ensuring sample protection. The stand-by cooling feature keeps samples at the designated temperature, even after the run has finished. With a maximum speed/RCF of 13,200rpm/16,110xG, this centrifuge is incredibly powerful. Its digital display shows time, temperature, and speed in either rpm or rcf. The timed-run, short-spin, and continuous-run modes are easily adjustable, and the variable speed control allows for maximum control. The brushless motor runs quietly, emitting less than 60dB of noise. The centrifuge fits easily on a benchtop or in a cold room, with dimensions of 11.38L x 17.75W x 9 in.H and a net weight of 46.75 lb. It accepts a 24-place rotor for 1.5 to 2.0mL tubes or a 36-place rotor for Microtainer* or standard 0.5mL tubes and comes with snap-on polypropylene lids.
