  The Eppendorf Vacufuge Concentrator (model #5301) quickly concentrates DNA/RNA, nucleotides, proteins, and other samples. Built-in solvent resistant PTFE vacuum pump, motorless drive and a sealed vacuum chamber. Quiet operation. Choice of 3 different evaporation modes, and 4 different heating levels (30*c,45*c,60*c and ambient) it develops 1400rpm. Included with this unit is an Eppendorf F45-48-11 rotor for 1.5/2.0mL tubes. Vapor trap not included. 12.5"x21"x12" footprint at 69lbs makes a nice fit for any lab. This unit is sold for research purposes only. 115VAC,60Hz @ 350W operation.   This unit was removed from a working lab where it was used quite often, although it still operates flawlessly and looks like it is new. The automatic lid opening feature is not working on this unit but it can easily be opened through the release hole on the right side of the unit with a paper clip. Other than that, it develops good vacuum, heats up and spins at full speed with no problems. To buy this unit would cost over $5500 new, so this is a good deal at this price.
