*** Please note: The item will be shipped from my lab in Bangkok, Thailand via DHL International with FREE shipping! *** You are looking at an EPSCO Microwave PG5KB High Power Pulse Signal Source Generator with 5238H/B8 plugin oscillator. The included plugin oscillator can generate a maximum power of 4.5 kW (duty cycle 0.0033) with 4,500 V of plate voltage. The frequency can be adjusted in the range of 2.35 - 2.70 GHz. All the knobs including the frequency adjustment on the oscillator work just fine. Last month, I tested it with my HP 437B and HP 8481B power sensor, and power output was measured. When I adjusted the knobs, the power output level changed accordingly. But I recently blew the 8481B power sensor with another application (see my other listing of it), so I can't show the pictures. But the included pictures in this listing show that with different panel settings, the plate voltage and plate current changed accordingly. These behaviors are the same as when I measured the output power with my HP 8481B power sensor. So I am confident that the generator is still working. And, by the way, if you turn it on after not using it for several hours, it will take 15-20 minutes for the oscillator to warm up until it can generate power. What I mean is that when you turn the POWER knob from OFF to STANDBY, the amber STANDBY light will come on, but if you immediately turn the knob further to H.V. ON position, the red H.V. ON light will not come on. You have to wait until the oscillator warms up so that when you turn the knob to H.V. ON, the H.V. ON light will light up. The unit is now sitting on the table and will not be used under any circumstances. The physical condition is good with scratches and blemishes in certain places. Please see the pictures closely. A metallic liner on the front right handle comes off at the bottom, but it won't affect anything. The 4 BNC connectors on the front right are quite rusty. The front panel looks very good. The black paint and numbers/letters are still looking very good. The item will be shipped from my lab in Bangkok, Thailand via DHL. It should take no more than 7 days to get to the U.S. after I hand the item to DHL. Please allow me 3 days to do some preliminary packing and DHL will professionally pack the item afterwards. With the weight and size of the item, shipping it back to my lab in Bangkok, Thailand is not cost-effective. So I have to sell it as-is with no return. So please, please, please make assure that you really want this item. Also, I just powered the item and took pictures the day before I make this listing, and with the responding plate voltages and plate currents, I believe the unit is working.
