Description The Thomas & Betts ERG-4001 Comfort Crimp Sta-Kon hand tool is used for crimping RA, RB and RC nylon and vinyl insulated terminals, splices, and disconnects. It has three color-coded crimp nests: red for 22 AWG - 18 AWG wire, blue for 16 AWG - 14 AWG wire and yellow for 12 AWG - 10 AWG wire. It features a Shure-Stake ratchet mechanism which ensures a complete crimp cycle. Ergonomic design allows one-handed crimping with less force. This crimper is a direct replacement for the ERG-2001. New ergonomically designed T&B Insulated Manual Ratcheting Crimper helps reduce the risk of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Its unique design delivers the same reliable crimp with up to 60% less handle force than other terminal hand tools. The Shure-Stake mechanism helps ensure a complete crimp cycle before it releases the tool. Color-coded die nests on both sides are included for insulated terminals.
