Sold As-Is, Where-Is: Most of the items listed were used in one form or another in our laboratory for different research and development projects, and are now sold due to the termination of these projects. At this stage we are not able to completely test and calibrate the items, therefore, all items are sold as-is, where-is, without warranty or guarantee, unless specified in the listing. All sales are final. Please ask all pertinent questions regarding the condition of the item before you make your purchase, as your selection may prohibit other customers from bidding. The operation of the items is the customer’s sole responsibility, and he/she must have the professional skills to safely operate them. We reserve the right to refuse a return based on customer not fully understanding the item description and the proper way of operation or changing his/her mind. DOA or Incorrect Product: All items described to be in operational condition but received Dead on Arrival (DOA) can be returned for replacement or refund (when no replacement is available), only if we are notified within 7 days of receipt of product. Compensation will be provided upon actual return receipt, physical examination, testing, and serial verification of the item and all sent accessories. If any one of these criteria is not met, we reserve the right to withhold funds for an indefinite term until all requirements are met. If you feel that you have received an incorrect item, please retain the item and all packaging materials and notify us ASAP. A Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required for all returns, so please contact us to make a request for one. Returned items must be received within 7 days of the RMA date or the case will not be honored. Original shipping charges are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for the return shipping on all items, freight and insurance. If a replacement is sent, there is no charge for re-shipping. We reserve the right to refuse any returns sent without prior approval. Return Shipment: All returns must be received in the same condition as shipped including all accessories attached. For claims, it is required that all original packaging materials be retained and returned with the defective product. If the item has been tampered with and/or changed in any way, from original condition, we reserve the right to refuse refund. Additionally, upon the receipt of the unit, we will fully examine the item in question, inspect its condition and verify the serial number(s). If the state of the returned item is different than that described in the listing, we reserve the right to refuse refund. Additionally, if it is evident that the item was damaged due to improper installation/use, we reserve the right to refuse refund. All return shipments should be properly insured. We will not honor claims for any items which were uninsured and damaged during return shipment. Rates: Shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are non-refundable. Rates include handling, packaging materials, label processing, actual shipment, tracking information and insurance. Shipping rates are also based on the weight and dimensions of the item(s) and your location. You always have the opportunity to pick up the items from our laboratory in Carlsbad, California. Processing Time: Once payment has cleared, we make every effort to ship the item within 3 business day typically within 2 days. Freight items may take longer due to the need of preparation for shipping. Multiple Orders: In case of multiple purchases, we will be glad to combine the shipment costs for cost savings. Packing Materials: For securing your item through transportation, we are packaging all items with a combination of packing foam, bubble wrap, peanuts, packaging paper, and packing tape. Freight Shipment: For freight shipment, shipping arrangements will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. We will be ready to assist the process. Additionally, there may be a crating/palleting charge to be determined on a per item basis. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact us beforehand. Not Mainland and for International Shipping: The shipping rates are covering the continental US only (Alaska, Hawaii and Remote Areas of the US may be higher). If the item is shipped to one of the above mentioned areas, please do not send payment until you receive a customer invoice. International bidders, please contact us prior to bidding, as costs for shipping outside the USA (or Alaska and Hawaii, inside the USA) will be higher. Please ask for quotes ONLY if you are a serious bidder. Shipment out of the continental US is determined on a case-by-case basis.
