Note: These clocks are configured by means of a small control application that runs under Windows (7/Vista/64 Bit not tested) and which communicates via a serial cable (not included). So please only purchase this if you have a PC with a serial port and cable which you can use to set up the date, timezone offset, cable length etc. You will most likely need you to run the config application when you first power up the unit before it will show the correct time and/or date, or before it will achieve sync. If required I can send the buyer the control application via email. The included antenna is very basic and is included to allow you to test the unit immediately upon receipt. For a proper installation, a durable external weatherproof antenna is highly recommended. Almost any of the generic 5V conical type antennae should suffice. This is a 115V AC device. Seller warranty does not include the internal rechargeable battery on the GPS card which probably should be replaced before the unit is permanently installed. Description The ES-102 is a low-cost yet very accurate GPS Master Clock/Time Code Generator. The unit receives time and date information from Global Positioning System satellites and supplies this data to the user in the form of four different types of time code: SMPTE/EBU ASCII (RS-232C) ESE-TC89™ ESE-TC90™ Six amber LED displays (.55") provide a digital display of the Hours, Minutes and Seconds data. Two One Pulse Per Second outputs and a GPS "Lock" output are also standard features. A multi-channel receiver is employed that is capable of tracking several satellites simultaneously, although reception of only one is required for time data to be output.
