Cappuccino Machine   Pre-Owned Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte, Mocha machine Elektra Click Image to Enlarge !!! Height : 16 inches Width : 13 inches Depth : 21 inches Voltage: 110 V, 60Hz A small clip of this machine   There comes a time in the life of a company where you feel you know it all. Although I should, because after 26 years in the Espresso Cappuccino machine business I have come across so many problem and opportunities of all kinds I still dread that feeling. I am more than qualified though to assure you that this machine is just as good as a new one (performance wise) except for the missing crisp looks of a new machine. Almost 100 % of the dealers in new machine won’t you to believe that the newest model of machine offer you the best product; let me tell you why their thinking is flawed. Q) What is an Espresso/Cappuccino machine? A) It is a device that is able to heat the water in a boiler up to 190/195 degrees (and be able to capture steam above the hot water) and the ability to push this water through finely ground Espresso blend. Q) What is an Espresso? A) An espresso is the extraction you get from the water going through fresh ground blend in 20 seconds time. You decide the size of the shot! (One, two, three ounces) Q) What is a Cappuccino? A) It is a combination of the above produced Espresso mixed with frothed milk (about 50/50 liquid and froth) Q) What is a Latte? A) If you substitute the frothed milk in a cappuccino with hot milk (no froth) you than call it a Latte. The origin of this name from the Italian “Caffe e Latte” From the above basic explanation you realize that a new machine does not produce new steam or sensational steam but only stem and the time to produce the prefect espresso is still 20 seconds. It is also important to note that each group in any machine (if it is in working condition) will be able to produce you 2 shots in every 20 seconds. So from that in a perfect world we would expect to get 360 shots. Since we do not live in perfect world and since it is not easier to load a new machine than it is a pre owned one we guess you can reasonably expect to get one half that many depending on your skill and ability to move. Another myth and misconception is the claim and the conviction that a super automatic machine is faster than one you load yourself. “Wrong” the time still 20 seconds, Think of the thousands of dollars this machine can save you and remember that we are not in the car business where the newest model comes with more jingles and bells. In this field we are still dealing with steam and hot water “Only”. I know the piece I just wrote will please some upset some others make some others laugh while some others will be pissed off. I am at 817.640.3131 to take any call from any one regardless. Ciao Domenic ************************************************************* One question comes up quite often is the cost of shipping. If you live with in driving distance from a Forward Air terminal (to find out call 1-800-726-6654) and you are willing to pickup from a trucking terminal we can save you one half of the cost of shipping it by truck in your location which is between $ 175 and $ 350 depending on factors such as residential delivery, dock or no dock etc etc etc. For any questions, please Call Domenic @817.640.3131 On Sep-01-08 at 10:25:42 PDT, seller added the following information:
