Express 48/96 combines the user-friendly operation and exceptional reliability of ETC's Expression 2 consoles in a system perfect for use in theater, television, live concerts, and any other small to medium sized venue. Express 48/96 allows you to use the console in 48 channel two scene preset mode or as a 96 channel single scene board, and makes it easy to switch from one to the other. Its new x/y trackpad controller puts control of the show at your fingertips. Using this controller, you can adjust levels and rates precisely by sliding your finger across its touch-sensitive surface. Working with the console's Link List feature, the x/y trackpad allows you to control the pan and tilt attributes of most DMX512-controlled moving lights, or simultaneously control a fixture and its color scroller. Anyone, from teachers, students and community theater volunteers to professional technicians and stagehands, will find Express 48/96 both powerful and easy to work with. Express 48/96 provides all the networking capabilities of ETC's Expression 2 and Obsession consoles. Support for ETCNet's Ethernet based protocol allows you to connect a variety of network devices to your Express system. Support for ETCLink allows you to monitor and control your Sensor dimming system from your console. Express also supports MIDI, so it can send and receive instructions to and from most MIDI devices.
