This welding rod is ideal for applications that involve joining cutting blades, forging and stamping tools, laminating rollers, gears, vibrating screen sieves, hydraulic systems, and earthmoving equipment. This 2lb box contains EutectrodeВ® 680, a highly alloyed and special manual welding electrode that excels in joining difficult-to-weld metals. It also provides rapid slag removal and excellent bead appearance for ease of welding in all positions. With outstanding tensile strength and superb crack-resistance, this welding rod offers high deposition rates and unrivaled deposit characteristics that are easily machinable. This welding rod is ultimate crack-resistant and perfect for welding dissimilar steels and alloy steels. With a typical tensile strength of 120,000 psi and a typical yield strength of 79,000 psi, this welding rod also offers a typical hardness of 23-31 HRC when deposited.
