This is an Everpure replacement filter cartridge MC-2 part # EV9612-56, it will also replace the older MC filter version. This cartridge is typically used for beverage and cold drink applications as well as Everpure's multi use systems. Has NSF certification 42 and 53. Will remove sediments, harmful cysts, and other contaminants down to 0.5 microns using Micropure II media with antimicrobial protection. This is the mechanical filtration part of an Everpure filter. The filters also have activated carbon as its chemical filtration. The chemical filtration uses the carbon to absorb chlorine and other chemicals and also removes other bad tastes and odors from the water. The filters have a 9000 gallon capacity each.
