This machine cannot work and it is sold as parts. The EXAKT 50 Ointment Mill is the workhorse of ointment compounding. It is the ideal tool for mixing pharmaceutical products and dispersing small amounts of pigment or chemicals in inks, pastes, thick films, cosmetics, and many more applications. Its three hard porcelain rollers enable fast and efficient blending. This mill breaks up powders as they are incorporated into a compound, resulting in smaller, uniform particles which deliver more chemical surface area. The adjustable gap between the porcelain rollers insures uniform particle size, and, in the process of reducing the particle size, dispersion and homogenization of the powder in the compound are enhanced.
