Onyx top and chrome base, custom designed and bought from Bickel Design (I believe that was the name) at the Pacific Design Center in the early 80's. Made in the USA using a uniquely detailed, bullnosed slab of imported onyx atop a chrome steel base. The onyx top is 3' by 6'. The top is double thick (bullnosed) and about 1 1/2" thick. The top of the desk with the chrome base is about 29 1/2" above the floor. One chrome front, hardwood suspension drawer. The photos are new and one was taken with a backlight to try to demonstrate the translucent and luminous nature of onyx. Top may be easily removed from the base for transport. Buyer will be responsible for pickup and transport of the desk.

Condition	Used : An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. Seller Notes	“Joyously used, onyx is always a comfortable pleasure to the touch. In excellent condition with some light haze. Mastic used for the bullnose is visible from some angles. I feel these matters do not detract from the striking beauty of the desk. The chrome base is in excellent condition. No additional charge if your moving people want to pick up this desk.”
