The fan housing resin used shall be a premium fire retardant vinyl ester with antimony trioxide for a 25 flame spread rating. Bearings shall be heavy-duty Self-aligning grease lubricated ball type with a minimum B-10 life of 50,000 hours. The structural walls shall be manufactured with a premium grade, vinylester resin. The resin used shall be AOC Vipel KO22, Derakane 510C, Hetron 992 or equal depending on availability of materials selected to meet the exposures and temperatures of the air to be exhausted as specified. The flame spread rating shall be 25 or less per ASTM E-84 and the NFPA-91 specifications. Catalyst shall be DHD9 or High Point 90 per resin manufacturer. The inner surface shall contain a single ply 10 ml thick minimum nexus surfacing veil saturated with Vinylester resin. Total liner thickness to be minimum 100 mills unless otherwise specified. No thixotropic agent or fire retardant additive is to be used in the liner resin. Corrosion liner shall contain not less than 20% or more than 30% glass by weight. Exterior of all laminates shall contain a sufficient 10 mil resin rich coating to insure a relatively smooth surface free from exposed glass fibers or sharp projections. An ultraviolet stabilizer shall be added to the final coat of resin that also incorporates a paraffinated wax curing element. For exterior gel coat finishes, color shall be Tan.
