DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is this 8 piece expanding arbor set with 4 allen wrenches all in an organized solid wood block. From what we read online you would use these by chucking the shank of the expanding mandrel in a collet, jaw chuck or fixture. Then with an allen wrench key you would tighten the hex draw bolt until it expands. You would then machine the slotted part larger than the bore part, then loosen the hex draw bolt, put it into position and tighten the draw screw. It is now chucked and ready for machining. These can be used with standard collets, vises, jaw chucks and many other specific fixtures. If you are viewing this auction we are sure you know what these are for and how to use them. Good luck! MEASUREMENTS: The diameter sizes range between 1/4" up to 1 1/4". The lengths range between 3" up to 4". Wood block holder measures 5" X 2 1/2" X 1 1/2".
