EXR1080 - REPLACEMENT IC - TV VIDEO PROCESSOR - EQUIV to ECG 1080 - NOS Click to Enlarge Welcome to my auction for a vintage Electronic part EXR 1080 REPLACEMENT Integrated Circuit Replaces ECG 1080 14 Pin DIP package TV Video processor circuit NEW OLD STOCK - UNOPENED These items are some I came to have when a good friend closed a TV repair shop he had been working in for many years. He had often bought two or more of a particular part when he ordered them in for a repair, and this way slowly built up his stock of repair parts. Today some of these are very hard to find, not being in production any longer. Most of these are new and unopened but could be several decades old. Of course with this type of parts, age is not a problem. A few of these he opened and substituted in a device being repaired to see if the that fixed the problem, then if not, he carefully removed the new part and put it back in the package for use again later. If the part has been opened I will say so clearly in the auction as without testing those parts may be unknown in condition. I would expect they are all fine as while most of his diagnosing was guessing which parts to change based on the problem, he was well skilled in handling delicate parts and proper soldering and desoldering techniques. I will likely never need most of these parts as I do more computer and audio gear repairs and hardly ever touch a TV these days, so rather than gather more dust, I am selling these on ebay and soon on a new electronic parts site dedicated to selling old parts - www.oldpartsbin.com. Its my hope they will be needed by other repair folks and do-it-yourselfers who might otherwise have to junk an older piece of electronics as some of these parts are not commonly found today. If you don't have a PayPal account, it will let you use a major credit card or debit card to make your payment with a bit more bother for typing in your name, address and such.
