Low/High Range Sound Level Meter Kit Digital sound level meter with 94dB sound calibrator and carrying case 407732 Digital sound meter.  Works well, handled gently, always kept in the carrying case.  All buttons and backlight work.  Power button contact is "sticky"; it turns on fine, but requires a light press to turn off, does not affect any other operation and is a minor inconvenience at best. 407722 Sound calibrator.  Works fine, handled gently, always kept in the carrying case. Adjustments are easily made using a jeweler's screwdriver (included) and the calibrator, to keep it reading accurately to spec. Great for hobbyist use, or verifying compliance with your local ordinances.  Whether initiating a noise complaint, or defending against one, having a professional sound meter along with the professional calibration tool, is hard to argue with.  Take the reading, show the measurement on the LCD display, then demonstrate that the meter is reading accurately using the calibrator. Non-NIST calibration was established on 03/2010 by ExTech.  Can be sent in for re-certification (Limited or NIST). Same model as currently sold by ExTech, retail on Amazon is $382.60. Here's conditions that apply to all my auctions: Bidding and payment: Payment by PayPal is expected within 3 days of the auction end. Bidders with overall negative feedback should expect their bids to be cancelled. Shipping: Items are typically shipped within 1-2 business days after payment is received. All items are carefully packaged, but is not a guarantee against damage during transit. Shipping to verified PayPal address only. If no invoice should be included, please let me know. Returns and refunds: No returns or refunds. Please read full item description completely. Items received that are damaged in transit, require shipping insurance to provide resolution. Shipping carriers may require inspection of both the item and the original packing materials, before approving a claim for reimbursement. Claims are at the discretion of the shipping carrier. A quick note on shipping insurance: Shipping damage happens. Usually some damage to the packaging is visible, e.g. crushed corners, punctures, tears, skid marks, etc., but sometimes there's no marks. Shipping facilities can be a violent environment for the package, and it may be dropped, kicked, thrown, etc. Not necessarily because of any malice towards the packages, it just happens during every-day operating conditions. Experienced eBay sellers will typically pack items carefully, in anticipation of this torture test, but sometimes the shipping conditions defeat our best efforts. Shipping providers will not reimburse for damage without insurance, and will only consider claims up to the amount of the insurance. eBay sellers and eBay itself has no control over this. Sellers who do offer to add insurance, do so at extra effort, for the benefit of the buyer. There's few things worse than a buyer being frustrated by shipping damage, and a seller having to explain "this is why I recommend insurance."
