METERLiNK is an exclusive Bluetooth technology that wirelessly connects select Extech meters to FLIR thermal cameras and Android mobile devices via Bluetooth to accelerate and simplify inspections. During infrared inspections of electrical components, users can transmit key electrical readings such as current or voltage from an Extech EX845 clamp meter directly to a FLIR infrared camera. METERLiNK instantly imprints the electrical readings onto a related infrared image. This not only provides accurate and comprehensive diagnostics it also ensures easier-to-understand inspection reports. If you have an Android phone or tablet, you can also use METERLiNK on your clamp along with the EX845 ExView app for Android. The app allows electrical contractors and plant maintenance professionals who use Extech's EX845 clamp meter to remotely view and display readings from the meter on an Android mobile device up to 30 feet (or 10 meters) away. About the EX845 & Other Features The rugged Extech EX845 1000A clamp meter is designed to deliver safety and versatilitywithout compromising performance or innovation. You can take the EX845 on the job to leverage its advanced meter functions including True RMS AC/DC current and voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, infrared and contact temperature, diode-test, and continuity check. Use the EX845's fast-responding peak hold function to capture inrush currents and transients. The bright 4-digit, 4,000 count backlit display is complemented by several one-button functions including data hold, min/max, and selectable auto- or manual-ranging. The large 1.7-inch (43mm) jaw opening handles conductors up to 750 MCM or multiple conductors such as two 500 MCM. For quick, point and shoot temperature readings, you can also use the EX845's non-contact IR thermometer with laser pointer for fast temperature checks or hot-spot detection. The EX845 amp clamp has a CAT IV-600-volt, CAT III-1000V overvoltage safety rating and is CE and ETL approved. NIST certification is available for this product. This meter measures 10.6 x 4.3 x 2 inches (HxWxD) and comes with an 8-piece CAT IV-rated professional test lead set, a 9-volt battery, Type K temperature probe, pouch case, user manual, and manufacturer's one-year limited warranty on parts and labor.
