IR thermometer features a built-in laser pointer, adjustable emissivity of 0.3 to 1.0 and a spot/distance ratio of 8:1. The meter calculates the temperature difference between IR surface temperature and dew point. Other features include data hold, programmable auto power off, low battery indicator, over/under range alert and a retractable probe that protects the humidity sensors when not in use. Optional RS-232 cable (37803-31) allows downloads onto PC via Windowsr Hyper Terminal utility. Meter can be calibrated in the field with using optional RH calibration standard salt bottles.
