This machine is designed for sewing multiple layers of leather and other heavy materials with very thick thread. This machine has a 1 INCH FOOT LIFT. This machine can comfortably handle TEX 350 thread size and does equaly well with 138, 205, 270, etc. It features a SHUTTLE HOOK for precise lock stitch motion underneath the needle and plenty of bobbin thread space for extended runs - even when sewing with heavy thread. The short arm gives the sewer the ultimate in hand-eye coordination by keeping everything close at hand. Cylinder arm further enhances precsion by allowing the sewer to easily manouver materials and semi-finished objects around the needle. The machine is set up with a high quality servo motor which gives the operator complete control of the max sewing speed by a convenient adjustment knob. Reverse and ADLER-STYLE Adjustable Stitch Length Regulator are also standard.
