Up for your consideration is this Extremely RARE Historic Hoover Bridge Workers Badge from the early 1930's. Authentic and Guaranteed Original. Marked on front MacDonald & Kahn Inc~J.F. Shea Inc and badge #2060. This badge was made by and is marked on the back pin back Patrick & Co S.F. (San Francisco CA). Patrick & Co is a well known Police and early Badge Company maker of the time. Badge measures 1 7/8" in diameter, slightly curved shape. Nice "C" clasp pin. All Original and not messed with. Hoover Dam was built by a Company called "Six Companies", which was a consortium of several companies of which MacDonald & Kahn and J.F. Shea Inc were two of them. A nice bit of the history can be found with a google search on the Hoover Dam. Badge is cast brass and weighs 0.6 oz. No damage or repairs noticed. There is a loss of most of the black enameling (a small bit of it is still noticable) within most of the lettering as can be expected.
