The Extron DTP T FB 232 is a two input transmitter that sends HDMI or VGA, audio, and control up to 230 feet (70 meters) over a shielded CATx cable. The DTP™ transmitter is compatible with floor boxes from OBO Bettermann, MK by Honeywell, Electraplan, and PUK. The DTP T FB 232 supports video signals at resolutions up to 1920x1200, including 1080p/60 and 2K. It features automatic switching between inputs and RS-232 remote control for easy operation in unmanaged locations, plus assignment of the stereo analog audio input. The transmitter also supports bidirectional RS-232 and IR pass-through for AV device control at remote locations. Designed for DTP Systems, the DTP T FB 232 can be remotely powered by Extron DTP CrossPoint® 84 matrix switchers or other DTP-enabled products. The HDCP-compliant DTP T FB 232 provides reliable switching and transmission of HDMI and VGA signals. For simplified operation, the DTP T FB 232 can automatically switch between the digital and analog sources. In addition, the transmitter provides a connection for sending stereo analog audio to a DTP-enabled matrix switcher, switcher, or signal processor. The analog stereo audio signal is sent over the same shielded twisted pair cable as the video and control signals, eliminating the need for a separate cable run to support analog audio at the DTP-enabled product. To enhance and simplify integration of sources and displays, and to help ensure optimal system performance, the DTP T FB 232 features EDID Minder®. EDID Minder is an Extron-exclusive technology that manages EDID communication between the display device and input sources to ensure that the correct video formats are displayed reliably. The DTP T FB 232 supports simultaneous transmission of bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals from a control system for AV device control. For added installation flexibility, the DTP T FB 232 transmitter can be remotely powered over the shielded twisted pair cable by a DTP-enabled product. This simplifies installation and allows both devices to share one power supply. The DTP T FB 232 can be integrated with an Extron DTP CrossPoint 84 Presentation Matrix Switcher, or other DTP-enabled products to support sources at remote locations. The unique form factor of the transmitter provides a flexible, floor box mounting solution, offering convenient input locations within configurable room environments and a range of other applications. The DTP 230 output can be configured for compatibility with HDBaseT-enabled displays to send digital video and embedded audio, plus bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals up to 230 feet (70 meters) over a shielded CATx cable.
