 The EZ D-Cube Patient Positioner makes it so easy to MOVE a patient from a supine position to a left or right lateral decubitus position to facilitate a cross-table lateral radiograph (x-ray)of the chest or abdomen.  It takes only one person to position the patient.  The patient is held comfortably in place on an even plane regardless of a sagging mattress, etc. The pad elevates the patient above the edge of the x-ray cassette as it sits in the slot behind and below the pad ensuring that all the lower rib angle is shown on the finished radiograph. To accomplish a lateral abdomen x-ray close the slot opening by moving the Velcro-attached pad toward the back of the device.  This will raise the cassette to allow the up side of the abdomen to appear on the finished radiograph.
