It is used instead of a “kit” electrosurgery unit / cable / coagulation forceps. FIAB's F7244 High Temperature Cautery pen has a fine tip that permits the cauterization of very small vessels. HTC reaches a maximum working temperature of 1.200°C (2.200 °F) and due to the two alkaline batteries has a long duration.
