 Radon is a big problem in todays airtight homes. Because homes are more airtight, radon can accumulate at harmful levels.  Almost 1 in every 15 homes in the US is estimated to have elevated radon levels according to the EPA. The HP2190 by Fantech gives you performance in a smaller size.  The sealed housing and wiring boxes prevent radon from leaking out or water from leaking in.  To use this radon fan you would attach it to a PVC pipe with flexible couplings. Fantech has developed the HP Series fans specifically to suit the higher pressure capability requirements needed in Radon Mitigation applications.  The HP2190 moves 163 CFM and is an inline fan for a 4.5" round duct The fan housing is UV resistant and UL listed plastic.  It is also UL listed for commercial applications.  The motor on this radon fan is heavy duty and designed to last for 7-10 years under continuous use.
