Spectrum Analyzer 9 kHz to 1 GHz The Farnell/Wayne Kerr SSA 1000A spectrum analyzer is well suited for EMC testing. The analyzer has a frequency range from 9 kHz to 1 GHz which meets EN/CISPR/VDE EMC specifications. Antenna factors for the Farnell antenna (30 to 1 000 MHz) are controlled from the front panel providing full calibration in dBV/m. The analyzer which is designed for bench use or rack mounting runs on ac dc or battery power with synthesized frequency accuracy. Built-in one-touch color plotting provides instant hard copy of the display. Resolution bandwidths are 1 kHz 9 kHz and 2 MHz. The SSA 1000A has a built-in quasi peak-detector a wide-band or narrow-band AM/FM receiver and a high-sensitivity RF preamplifier for off-air monitoring.
