A short 10 second heat-up time allows you to get to work more quickly. Press the button on the side and the dual power heating element supercharges from 15 watts to 80 watts, easily soldering thick wire to heavy duty terminals. The 1.2 mm conical tip facilitates pinpoint soldering in tight spaces. When your task is complete, screw the protective cover over the iron and toss it into your tool box. The vent hole in the protective cover lets heat escape naturally. Operates on 120VAC. 4-1/2 ft. power cord. This can be done by tilting the cabinet back and setting the speaker in place. If the cabinet has bare wire leads, just wrap them around the solder lug connector on the back of the speaker to make the electrical connections. A friend can help hold the speaker in place while you listen to the new speaker. This is, of course, not an optimal way to listen to a speaker, but will give you the opportunity to identify major response problems or poor tonal characteristics prior to mounting.
