These nyloc nuts are ideal for use with any externally threaded item measuring 0.216 inch and having 24 threads per inch, with a width measured from flat to flat of 7/16", height of 5/64", and hex socket drive size of 7/16". Manufactured by Fastenere, they are made from 18-8 Stainless Steel, known for its strength and excellent corrosion resistance in different environments. There is a difference of opinion on the reuse of nyloc nuts, but they can be reused many times as the nylon insert is not damaged by installation and specific conditions are met.
