This unit easily connects to a variety of point-of-sale (POS) terminals and electronic cash registers (ECRs), given merchants a fast and simple way to accept the latest in PIN-based payments. It features large, hard rubber keys for ease of use, and a sleek design that fits in the palm of your hand. The First Data FD-10 PIN pad also features an ADA-like keypad that enables the visually impaired to easily enter personal information necessary to process a transaction. This device is rugged and reliable, built to withstand whatever hard knocks may be met at the point-of-sale. The First Data FD-10 PIN pad features: * An ultrasonically sealed case and secure microprocessor for the highest security possible. * PCI-PED approval. * A Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) readout that improves readability under all lighting conditions, including bright sunlight. * Compatibility with all First Data proprietary POS systems for acceptance of PIN based payments. * Audible feedback for each input that beeps to tell the customer when a key has been successfully processed. * A dual-line, 16 character display that eliminates scrolling. * Large, well spaced keys to reduce customer errors and re-keying.
