The item pictured (s/n 2/0-7120) is the english version, only the dial indicator is changed for the metric version (.002 mm/div instead of .0001"/div). There is a full set of 13 measurement probes (probe numbers 5-17) for the following ranges: #5 - .0630 - .070", #6 - .069" - .076", #7 - .075" - .082", #8 - .081" - .087", note: there are two sizes of mandrels, the smaller one goes with the probes above and the larger one goes with the probes below. #9 - .084" - .095", #10 - .094" - .107", #11 - .105" - .118", #12 - .116" - .128", #13 - .126" - .142", #14 - .140" - .160", #15 - .157" - .190", #16 - .188" - .220", and #17 - .219" - .255". The metric ranges are just the conversions (multiply by 25.4 mm/") of the above ranges. Boice gages were manufactured by Federal, are now discontinued. This gage will measure close to the bottom of a blind hole, about .065" for the largest probe. The "reach" (effective probe length) is about 1". The first picture is from a set that was sold earlier - simply showing the probe tip extremes, smallest and largest - the other pictures are of the one for sale in this listing. Cosmetic condition - the pictures should show the external conditions, call or email if there is any question. The probes are packaged in numbered tubes, and the probes/mandrels are packaged in labeled envelopes. Very good condition, this may have been kept as a service spare. Functional condition: We have tested the gage with the smallest and largest probes (#5 with .0632" / .0664" setting rings, and #17 with .2490" / .2496" setting rings) and we inspected each of the probes - everything works as it should.
