I used it non-stop for several hours pausing when the 'hot' light button came on. It works quickly and just as the description said it would. The only thing I found different was that it said it can hold up to 8 pages in thickness, and I could only run 3 pages at a time without it jamming. When it did jam, it reversed and came right out. I prefer it to be tucked away under my desk when it's not in use so dragging it out to use it is kind of a pain, but I guess I'll adjust. Really, it's a nice shredder.
