Fieldpiece HS26 Original Stick Digital Multimeter (HVAC/R) Still pocket-sized, easy to use, & safe, the HS26 gives you the tests you need at a cost that wont break your wallet. Standard Safety Features LED and loud beeper warnings. Hi-Voltage warning above 30V. Max & Hold to keep your focus on the test pt. Detachable silicone leads/alligator clips for safe one-hand or remote tests in tight spaces. Manual ranging so you think before you hook up. AC Volts from 0.1mV to 600V Test power lines (120, 220, 480) Test 24V going to controls. Test for transformer failure. 400 AAC with ACH4 current head (included). Test motor run & start capacitors Capacitors are one of the most failure prone components in an HVAC/R system. When MFDs are out of spec, its time for a change out. 0.1? resolution for Ohming out a motor Find shorts in internal motor windings. 0.1? resolution needed to test resistance between the motor poles. Flame rectififier diode test Microamps DC for when the flame diode goes out. The first test when you get the familiar my furnace turns on but then turns off again call. DC Volts from 0.1mV to 6200V Test variable frequency drive components and control units. Also good for quick battery checks. Measure other HVAC/R parameters with slide-on instrument heads using mV ranges. Continuity / Diode Test See if the circuit is open or closed. Check for bad fuses. Check diodes. FIELDPIECE LOW CURRENT ACCESSORY HEAD - AUA1 The Fieldpiece Milliamps & Microamp Accessory, model AUA2, converts microamps (for flame rectifier diode) and milliamps (for heat anticipators and control circuits) to a mV signal for direct current reading on any meter with mV ranges. For resolution of 0.1 micro/milliamps, use a meter that displays 0.1mV. The AUA2 includes quick connect and mini-plug adapters to convert your stick meter, DL3 data logger, and EHDL1 electronic handle to a one-piece flame rectifier diode tester and heat anticipator checker. Fieldpiece ATH3 Dual Temperature Head The Fieldpiece Dual-Temperature Accessory, model ATH4, measures two temperatures simultaneously using the included k-type, wrap tab beaded thermocouples. The technology inside the ATH4 provides superior temperature compensation in rapidly changing environments commonly found while performing field service. Use the ATH4 to find Delta T and just about any temperature split you want to measure. Displays T1, T2 and T1-T2 on your Fieldpiece meter, handle or data logger. It is included with the HVAC Guide® System Analyzer to get target superheat and for the Target Evaporator Exit Temperature test. Fieldpiece offers a wide variety of k-type thermocouples for various HVAC specific applications. Use pipe clamp T/Cs with the ATH4 to check for blocked filters. Use wet and dry bulb thermocouples to find target superheat Fieldpiece ACH3 300 AC Amp Clamp Accessory Head Current to Voltage Converter 1A/1mV Use mVAC Range to read current directly. The ACH3 current clamp is a small size accessory head for quickly reading up to 300 AC amps. The claw feature on the clamp makes it easy to quickly pick out the wire you need to measure. Once the current carrying conductor is isolated, the amperage is converted to mVAC for reading directly on the meter. The ACH3 works with the Fieldpiece “Stick” meter, EHDL1 Electronic Handle, EH4W Wireless Handle, DL3 Data Logger, the HG2 and HG3 HVAC Guide® System Analyzers, or any other digital multimeter (with mVAC range) connected by Fieldpiece ADLS2 detachable silicone leads or AHDL1 handle adapter.
