Filament Transformer...Test at full load for 1hr Manufacture = Chicago Transformers/Collins This transformer has been removed from a Collins 21E - 21M AM Broadcast transmitter. The tube line up was 3cx2500a3, so they required 7.5v @ 51a. Being that the transmitter was designed to operate on 3 phase power (apx. 208 or greater), I decided to conduct a test with various input voltages. So here are my results. (3cx2500f3) input = 208, output 7.00v, at tube = 6.65v/42a input = 220, output 7.50v, at tube = 7.10v/44a input = 233, output 7.90v, at tube = 7.50v/45a input = 240, output 8.15v, at tube = 7.70v/46a The nice thing about the results is that it indicates the transformers are usable with input voltage adjustment, with either a small auto transformer or with a variac, etc. It allows precise adjustment at the tube... For use with 3cx25000x - 3cx3000x  and various others. weight = 28 lbs height = 8.00" width = 6.00" depth = 5.125" I have on hand more than 10... Combined shipping available to same address.
