Let's just face the facts that the Germans know their $hit when it comes to manufacturing quality products, and they don't skimp in the field of welding safety either. You'll love these lenses. The Gold coating reflects the vast majority of the harmful UV that is invisible to the eyes and also dissipates heat... which keep the lens AND your eyes cooler. It also dramatically reduces the "Flare" or "haze" surrounding the puddle, letting you see with more clarity what's going on UNDER the arc and smoke. BUT... wanna make a Great Lens Even BETTER?.... Add one of my SUPER COBALT BLUE DROP IN LENSES to this finely made German lens.... And you'll end up with a lens of pretty close to a "true blue" coloration... but with a depth of clarity and definition unrivaled by any other welding lens. My drop ins are manufactured here in the USA to my own specs and are a TRUE cobalt blue color...with just a hint of violet. These lenses surpass even the P.S super blue drop in lenses in depth of color, clarity and definition by virtually eliminating the free Red/Orange and Yellow visible light.... Best part is... they're A LOT CHEAPER than the P.S drop in lenses too!! It must be noted however, that because these lenses are manufactured for use in EU, that it is absolutely necessary to use front and rear ANSI approved impact resistant cover lenses.
