• Heavy duty rubber fire hose that is 6.5 inches wide flat. • This is Out of Service fire hose. It was LDH (large diameter hose) supply line used to hook to a fire hydrant. • When you buy 1 you get 50 feet total (but it will be in two 25 ft sections). • Your main cost for this auction is the shipping. The closer you are to our location in California the cheaper your shipping cost will be. • To reduce the shipping cost, we have cut off all the couplings and also cut the 50 foot hose in half. This allows us to pack it so it fits perfectly in a smaller box (shipping charges are based on weight and the size of the box). See the photo of this hose in the box it will ship in (if you buy one unit). • Each 25 foot section of this hose has a split on one edge - please see photos. In one section, the split is in the first foot of one end and is about 7.5 inches long. In the other section, the split is five feet from one end and also measures about 7.5 inches long. There are no other holes. For boat dock lining, this should not make any difference. • Made by Snap Tite in the U.S.A. • Color: Yellow • Inside Lining: Polyurethane • Outer Jacket: heavy duty rubber. • When flat the width of the hose is 6.5” wide and 3/8” thick. • This hose is excellent for lining boat docks or other bumper guard type of applications. Also can be used by those who repurpose old fire hose into apparel, and is perfect for the air bladder if you are building a pneumatic ski press for making snow skis or water skis. • This hose can be easily and quickly cut with a hack saw.
