The Gut Belt Constructed of 2" nylon webbing rated at 8000 lbs Exceeds NFPA 1983, 2006 editions for Ladder/ Escape belts All hardware meets or exceeds load specifications No big ladder hooks or hang up hazards The Gut Belt is life insurance. Firefighters should have their own belt, not one they have to share. The Gut Belt is practical for everyday use because it is not oversized and cumbersome which is exactly what firefighters need in high-stress environments, especially with bulk of turnout gear and equipment that is carried. The D-Rings are made for 3/4" webbing and the belt itself is made of 2" webbing; specially sized and fitted so accessories don’t come sliding forward when bending over. All load bearing stitching is protected from heat and abrasion by the Thread Protector and the VELCRO® brand webbing retainer keeps excess webbing in place. Retails for $120-$140.  I used this belt as a volunteer fire department.  When I moved, I did not join the fire department in the new town.  The belt was used minimally, was not in a fire, and is in excellent condition; I would not sell the item if I thought it would be a danger to my fellow brothers. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask. US and PayPal buyers only. $12.00 for Shipping/Handling.
