• This is 1.5 inch coupling size fire hose with NH (NST) thread couplings. • 100 ft. long approx. (These normally come out between 96 and 105 feet. Made for government agencies and never seem to be exact!). • This FSS (Forest Service Standard) Spec 187 Type II hose is an extremely lightweight all synthetic lay flat hose. This widely used forestry hose is made of 100% filament polyester and is lined with TPU elastomer. It is rated for 300 PSI (450 burst) service test pressure. Being very lightweight and compact allows more of this hose to be packed and carried than standard fire hose. Not intended for structure firefighting, this light, thin hose is great for contractor or agricultural usage. Also great for protecting your property in a wild land interface zone where you have your own pump set-up. Could also go right back into fire service use on a brush rig for a volunteer fire department on a budget.
