• This is Out of Service fire hose. It is great for lining boat docks or other bumper guard type of applications as well as a chaffing guard or other protect purposes (saw blades, tools, ropes, cables and anything else that will fit inside this 2.5 inch inside diameter hose (see photos, showing hose over a common can of spray paint with a 2.5” diameter lid - just to show the fit. And no, the spray paint is not included in the auction!). • We have customers who also use this hose for making fire-fighting themed apparel items, and also as the stripes for extra large ceremonial display flags made of fire hose (they use red and blue spray paint on this hose for those colors of the flag).  • Cut to lengths of approx 24 feet long. • The flat width of the hose is about 4-3/8” inches wide • 2-1/2 inch inside diameter on the inside • It is 5/16 to 3/8 inch think on the side edge. • This is double jacket hose (two layers of fabric) with a black rubber hose inside.   • All the couplings have been cut off to reduce the weight and shipping cost. • Outside jacket Material: Polyester (this is commonly referred to as “cotton” hose but it is actually a synthetic material). • Inside lining Material: EPDM black rubber. • This hose can be quickly cut with a hack saw. It can easily be nailed or screwed onto most surfaces. • The shipping cost is $17.50 for one and $9.00 for each additional roll. Add the items to your cart and the adjusted shipping amount for multiple items should be calculated upon checkout.
