Cairns Red 1010 Traditional Fiberglass Helmet, featuring a Jim Beam embossed leather front, is a must-have for firefighting gear collectors. The slight yellowish tint of the Tuffshield visor helps firefighters see better under all lighting conditions, including looking at flames, and complies with NFPA 1971, 2007 edition. The Tuffshield visor is heat-resistant up to 500В° F, which is significantly higher than other visor materials that will start to melt at about 345В°. Additionally, it is made of a heavier grade material with more impact resistance, making it tougher. This helmet has never been used and has been carefully stored in a box. All visors meet ANSI Z87.1+ impact requirements. It comes with a 4" TuffshieldВ® Visor, which offers distinct advantages over the clear and smoke visor options.
