I am selling some of these saws after owning one as they are so handy and versatile, I really can recommend them. We use ours a lot, please have a look at www.woodsplitting.co.uk for more product information. They're a third of a firewood processor and great value for money. Ring for latest prices. They take good sized timber as you can see from the 5 inch log thats in the pictures for scale, loads of room for a bigger bit as the saws not pushed in fully. To have in the yard or take out on jobs, you dont need a chainsaw certificate to use one. Hands can enter the work area without exposed blade. When pushing the timber through and the blades exposed your hands are well out of the way. Spring loaded rocker so always returns to 'safe' position, easier on your back as well! Much safer than a chainsaw for cutting up reclaimed timber, off cuts etc. Tipped 700mm blade so will last a very very long time before blunt, especially on dirty timber. Can be sharpened with a flat file, very easy, or a small angle grinder if your confident. On a processor i have seen one of these blades do 300 tonnes before someone bothered to sharpen it. Cant say who for legal reasons. Reliable starting 13hp 4 stroke petrol engine so its got power but you dont need a tractor. Comes with manual and tool kit. Easy to move about (as shown by limp teenager) and stores well. A one tonne bulk bag just fits over it if you leave it out! Please come and try before you buy.
