Assembled by recommendation of first responders and first aid training experts, this small, lightweight kit contains the bare necessities for protection in a situation where contact with infected bodily fluids is possible. The convenient kit contains a face mask with the all-important clear shield to keep fluid from spraying into the eyes (an often-overlooked entry point for bloodborne pathogens), two pairs of nitrile gloves to allow double-gloving, and one Hibistat wipe which offers both antibacterial and antimicrobial action, a combination that has some effectiveness even against viruses like Ebola. The kit is perfect for a police or security officer who might need to render spot first aid. It can clip on easily to a first aid kit or first response bag to give easily-accessible protection to EMT's. It's also small enough to fit in a purse or glove box for emergency response or medical personnel who are off duty but still want to have protection available in case they encounter an emergency.
