The rotors on this benchtop microcentrifuge are interchangeable, allowing users to switch from the original fixed angle rotor to a PCR rotor, hematocrit rotor, and a dual row rotor. This microcentrifuge is capable of reaching speeds up to 14800 RPM. This micro centrifuge comes equipped with a twenty-four-place rotor and was built for the most tedious and vigorous lab experiments. The microfuge comes equipped with a maintenance free brushless motor and built-in microprocessor controls. Setting up runs takes only a matter minutes with the easy-to-use digital display and soft button key design. Moreover, this microcentrifuge comes with an auto lock lid to ensure safety while runs are in place. The Click Seal Biocontainment lid and 24 place rotor allow for 1.5 and 2.0ml tubes to be used. In addition to having all the bells and whistles you want in a microcentrifuge, the Fisher AccuSpin Micro 17 has a settable timer of 1 to 99 minutes.
