 This laboratory burner looks great and appears to be in excellent condition. The gas adjustment valve turns freely and we observe the valve mechanism closing the orifice at full closed setting. We have NOT tested this device ourselves and thus cannot vouch for its actual operation with gas and flame. A careful inspection under magnification revealed no dents, scrapes, scuffs, or other signs of damage or abuse. The air adjustment shutter rotates freely. We suggest that this item would continue to provide good service in a laboratory, or make a for-sure interesting conversation piece on the mantle or coffee table. The items shown in photos will be shipped to the buyer. USED - AS IS No sales/shipping to outside US Generic description of the 1201-21 burner Specifically designed to prevent back-flashing — an important safety feature One-piece nickel-plated Venturi tube and an octagonal base of heavy, die-cast nickel-plated zinc alloy Base measures 3.5 in. (8.75cm) in diameter Capable of heat output in excess of 12,000 BTU per hour Wing top is not available for this burner Tubing size: 0.37 in. (9.5mm) Provides better Meker cone definition so flame adjustment is more precise. Distributes flame through 100 separate openings for more uniform heating. Features venturi tube for thorough mixing of air/gas. Adjustable gas orifices and air shutter to provide proper combustion.
