Brand new Centrific Centrifuge Model 225 It comes with 1 Centrific Centrifuge 115V Unit, 1 Motor Brush and Spring Set and 1 Instructions. The Model 225 Centrific Centrifuge is ruggedly-constructed and thoughtfully engineered to provide years of safe, convenient operation. Designed for routine centrifugation tasks, it utilizes a number of accessory rotors including 12-or 24-position angle rotors that accommodate loads as great as 360 mL and develops speeds as great as 4750 rpm. Providing timed or continuous operation, along with solid-state speed control and electronic braking, the Centrific Centrifuge basically cosists of a universal DC motor mounted within the domed section of a cast iron base and surrounded by a high-density cross-linked polyethylene bowl and latching lid. The bowl opening is large to facilitate loading tasks, while the polyethylene material is both chemically resistant (only ketones, aromatic hyrdrocarbons need to be avoided) and highly resilient to absorb accidental projectile impact. In addition to the vibration-free design of rotor and shields, the motor is precision-balanced for smooth, quiet operation. Bearings also are permanently lubricated to eliminate maintenance, and control circuitry includes RFI suppression to limit brush and triac switching transients.
